Person Centered Care
I love working with new moms and dads who are finding their footing in this new chapter of life. Becoming a parent can be beautiful and meaningful, and also disorienting and exhausting. It’s normal to look around one day and think, who am I now?
Everything in your life feels like it's changed, and my role is to help you sort through all of it. I want to understand how you are really doing, not just how the baby is sleeping. We’ll explore how you’re functioning and what self-care can realistically look like without guilt or shame. We’ll focus on helping the transition into parenthood feel more aligned with who you’ve always been and who you’re becoming.
I specialize in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectic Behavioral Therapy) informed, and action-based interventions. Additionally, I hold a certification in perinatal mental health (PMH-C) and have experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I utilize an eclectic, holistic, and collaborative approach to treat individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, perinatal disorders (i.e. postpartum disorders), and changes associated with infertility, pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, parenting, and rediscovering the new you.
